Oink Rub for Chops

1/2 cup brown sugar

1/4 cup paprika

1 tablespoon fresh cracked pepper

1 tablespoon chili powder

1 tablespoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper

2 teaspoons salt

4 Gracehaven Heritage Pork Chops

Mix spices in a large bowl and rub heavily on both sides of chops. Refrigerate for 1-2 hours. Heat grill to medium high. Grill chops on first side 4-5 minutes then turn and cook till center is 145 degrees. Let sit for 5-7 minutes. Serve with fried apples and Gracehaven pork n’ beans.

Fried Apples

5 apples peeled and sliced

1 large onion sliced thin

1/2 cup of raisins

1/2 stick butter

1/2 cup brown sugar

Melt butter over low heat. Add sliced apples, onions and raisins. Increase heat to medium. Stir frequently and cook until apples are tender and onions are translucent. Add brown sugar and cook 2 minutes more until sugar is melted. Serve with pork chops.

Gracehaven pork n’ beans

2 cans unseasoned baked beans (28 ounce cans)

1 can great northern beans (16 ounce can)

1 lb Gracehaven Hot Sage Sausage loose packed

1 cup canned crushed tomatoes

1 medium onion, chopped

1 large bell pepper chopped

1 large clove garlic crushed

1/4 cup brown sugar

1/4 cup pure maple syrup

1 cup Sweet Baby Ray’s Honey BBQ

Cook sausage and onion until sausage is browned and onion is translucent. Add crushed garlic and cook until fragrant about 1 minute. Drain fat from sausage and onion mixture. Place sausage mixture in large sauce pan (or crock pot). Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Bring mixture to a simmer on the stove top and cook 1 1/2 hours stirring frequently. If using the crock pot, cook on low 4 hours.
